Walking to work,

A stroll through Capitol Park,

Tranquil morning before a hectic start,

Blooming flowers spread pollen in the breeze,

Quiet interrupted by the tick, tick, tick of squirrel paws on trees,

Or is it?

When I look up and around there’s nothing to be found,

Oh shit, I think it’s the smoke monster.
